FIRST KIDS UPDATES
 
         
 
Kids Worship Arts will also continue to meet on Wednesday nights from 7:00 to 7:30. There is still time for your kids to get in on the excitement. They will begin practicing a new song that will be performed on May 20 during the 11:00 Bridge service.
 
Mission Possible Kids will continue to meet on Wednesday nights from 6:00 to 7:00 to do hands-on mission activities. Our last meeting date until the fall will be May 9, 2012. We are planning a celebration that night to commend the children on all the missions they have done throughout the year.
 
The Downtown Slam is coming on May 19, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. We would love to have all of our kids there to play. This is a wonderful way for your child(ren) to get involved in risk-taking missions and learn how to exhibit radical hospitality.
 
Summer Socials are in the planning for all kids ages preschool through 5th grade. This will be a time of fellowship and bonding with our brothers and sisters in Christ. The planned dates are June 5, June 16, June 19, June 26, June 30, and July 14. Go ahead and mark your calendars! Some adventures we are hoping to do are: free movies, Shark Tooth Creek, swim party, ice cream party, picnic at the park. Shark Tooth Creek has been scheduled!!! We will be going on June 26. Cost is $20 per person ages 3 and up (under 3 is free). Deadline to register is June 5. E-mail Stephanie at stephanie@fumct.org. 
 
Camp Sumatanga:  We are trying to get a group of FUMCT kids to go to Camp Sumatanga together this year! Go to www.sumatanga.org for more information about the camp. E-mail Moira (moira@fumct.org) or Stephanie (stephanie@fumct.org) for more information about our group.
 
Vacation Bible School is scheduled for July 16-20 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. All kids ages completed 3K through rising 4th grade are welcome to attend! If there is anyway that you could help at all with VBS, please let us know! We need all the help we can get during VBS!!
