HOSPITALITY MINISTRIES 
 
Our Greeter Ministry involves many people in our church and is our way of ensuring that each person who enters our doors is welcomed as a brother or sister in Christ.  We welcome you to our hospitality webpage and hope that we will have the opportunity to greet you on a Sunday morning very soon.  Read below to learn more about this ministry. 
 
Mission Statement: To reflect the love of Christ to all who enter our doors, expressing excitement and enthusiasm for the opportunity to share our church home.
 
Ministry Scripture Verse: "As the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience."  Col 3:12
 
Greeter Ministry Objectives:
  1. Be faithful to your commitment – Attendance on scheduled days is vital. If scheduling conflict arises please use schedule to contact possible fill-ins.
  2. Take ownership - You set the tone for all who enter our doors!! Be relaxed and cheerful.
  3. Generate an atmosphere of care - Welcome every person who comes within ten feet (10’) of you. Watch for anyone needing special assistance (help with doors, strollers, wet weather, etc).
Points to Remember:
 ·        Pray before each shift and ask Him to shine through you as you represent His church.
·        Arrive at least twenty (20) minutes prior to the service & stay until most late comers have arrived.
·        Wear your nametag and collect a welcome badge from tables in the Great Hall.
·        Please find a substitute if you are not able to keep your scheduled commitment.
·        Speak to everyone, but concentrate on those people you do not know or have not met yet.
·        Be Flexible!!! This is a large church and things are constantly changing remember we are all serving the Lord.
