First United Methodist Church is a Safe Sanctuary church.  That means that we have adopted a policy which calls us to the safest practices involving the supervision of children and youth.  Below you will find several documents which fully explain our policies.  One of the policies that we have in place is the requirement of background checks for all paid and volunteer workers who supervise children.  You will also find a link to the form you need to fill out to apply for that background check.
