DISCOVERY WEEKEND

Discovery weekend is a student weekend created for spiritual formation. The students @ Alliance Student Ministries experience the love of God, the joy and forgiveness of Christ, and the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Discovery is held in the local church for all students (6th-8th grade) attending and senior highs (9th-12th grade) and adults of the church                                                                                        leading the weekend.
 
The event begins on Friday evening and continues through Sunday afternoon.  Our youth experience the power of God and the love of their church family through this event. Continue to watch this webpage as additional information comes available about this great weekend experience.  
 
The next Discovery weekend will be scheduled for August 13th-15th 2010.  Check this page for latest information.
 
WHAT TO BRING!!!
     Sleeping Bag
     Pillow
     Clothes for 3 days (no church clothes necessary)
     Toiletries
 
WHAT NOT TO BRING!!!
     NO Electronics
     Cell phones will be discouraged during the day
 
If you need to pick up your child at ANYTIME or just want to know they are ok please call one of these parents:

          These parents will be at the church all weekend. Also if your child needs to leave at ANYTIME during the weekend, you must call one of these parents and they will personally bring your child to you. Your childs safety is our #1 concern.
