Mosaic Ministry

At First United Methodist Church Tuscaloosa, Mosaic Ministry is dedicated to creating a church where everyone belongs.
We believe every person is created in the image of God, uniquely gifted, and called to participate fully in the life of the Church. Through individualized support, adaptive environments, and caring volunteers, we help children, students, and adults of all abilities experience God's love, grow in faith, build meaningful relationships, and use their gifts in service to others.
Mosaic Ministry welcomes individuals with sensory needs, learning differences, neurodivergence, mobility or seating needs, and anyone who benefits from additional support or flexibility during worship and church activities. Working alongside families, we strive to remove barriers and foster a community where every person is welcomed, valued, and empowered—because at FUMCT, there is a place for you. You belong.
