Matthew 25 Ministry

Serving Through Matthew 25
The Matthew 25 Ministry is rooted in a simple calling: to serve others with compassion and dignity.
Inspired by Matthew 25, this ministry focuses on meeting practical needs in our community through acts of service, outreach, and care. Whether it is providing support to those facing hardship or showing up in small, meaningful ways, this ministry reflects our commitment to love our neighbors well.
“For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me.”— Matthew 25:35–36 (NRSVUE)

International Missions

Extending hope across borders.
We support and engage in mission initiatives around the world that help strengthen communities, share the love of Christ, and promote dignity and well-being for all.
Through prayer, partnership, and giving, we walk alongside international ministries that equip leaders, support families, and build sustainable, life-giving relationships.
Whether through ongoing partnerships, short-term mission teams, or special offerings, our intention is to listen well, serve faithfully, and contribute to lasting transformation rooted in mutual respect and shared faith.

National Missions

Serving in the wider community of our nation.
Across the United States, we join with organizations, networks, and ministry partners to respond to human need and bring hope where it is needed most.
From disaster response and relief efforts to long-term community support initiatives, our church family participates in mission that uplifts neighbors with compassion and practical care.
These opportunities provide meaningful ways to serve, learn, and grow in faith alongside others who are committed to making a positive difference in the lives of individuals and communities across our country.

Local Missions

Neighbors helping neighbors right here in Tuscaloosa.
Our local mission efforts reflect our commitment to love our neighbors in tangible ways right where we live.
We partner with community organizations, host on-site outreach efforts, support our weekly Soup Bowl volunteers, and encourage members to serve individuals and families in need.
From food and clothing drives to mentoring, advocacy, and direct support, local missions are about building authentic relationships, offering practical help, and sharing the grace of God with those around us. Every act of service, large or small, is part of joining in God’s work in our own backyard.
